It it is a wet and dreary Saturday for the New Orleans area.
"We'll have scattered showers and storms on your Saturday under cloudy skies," said WWL Louisiana meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "It's going to be warm and muggy again with high temperatures in the 70s."
Alexa says we will get something of a respite in the afternoon before more rain starts up this evening: "This afternoon we should trend dry with another batch of showers and storms possible this evening."
We will start to dry out and cool off tomorrow into the week.
