It was a rollercoaster ride, but we finally have confirmation that the Rolling Stones will indeed be taking part in the US portion of their No Filter Tour.
While we're waiting for the tour to kick off at Soldier Field on June 21st, let's take a look at the timeline that got us to this point. If you're interested in reading what we wrote at the time, just click on the links included in the text.
11/5/18: The Rolling Stones teased a tour announcement with their iconic tongue logo appearing at various football stadiums across the United States.
11/19/18: The announcement. The Rolling Stones rolled out American dates for the No Filter Tour which included only one stop in Chicago at the time.
11/19/18: Mick Jagger tells RADIO.COM "I've got to be ready for anything" as the band begins to prepare for the tour with rehearsals.
11/26/18: Mick & Keith give insight into what may appear on the setlist for the upcoming tour.
11/28/18: Details regarding the price of tickets at their Soldier Field show were scant, so we investigated to see how much it would cost to see The Rolling Stones.
11/28/18: A second Soldier Field concert was announced taking place on June 25th.
11/29/18: Keith Richards gives remarks on whether or not this is the last Stones tour. "Maybe this will be the last one, I don't know," he said.
11/30/18: The Rolling Stones revealed the stage design for the No Filter Tour in a video on social media.
3/30/19: The postponement. The Stones announced their upcoming US/Canada dates were postponed due to Mick Jagger's health issues.
4/1/19: It was revealed that Mick Jagger had to undergo heart valve replacement surgery for a condition discovered during tour preparation.
4/5/19: Mick Jagger undergoes successful heart valve replacement surgery.
4/29/19: Ronnie Wood tells Hello! Magazine that Mick has been recovering well following surgery and has received videos of Ronnie & Keith Richards singing him get well songs.
5/10/19: The Rolling Stones thank fans for their patience and tell them an update is coming soon. Mick Jagger also gets cleared by his doctors to tour.
5/15/19: Mick Jagger posts a video on his social media pages going through a dance routine, proves age is just a number.
5/16/19: The tour is back on. Rescheduled dates for the No Filter Tour get announced.
