This week on Saturday Morning FlashbackJohnny Mars transported us to 2001. It’s the first year of the Third Millenium and the 21st Century, and the year the whole world skipped a beat on 9/11.  Debuts that year include the iPod, the first Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings films, and Wikipedia. Here in Chicago, airplane manufacturer Boeing migrates to The Windy City, and racecars start flying around the Chicago International Speedway, though they would soon come to prefer the streets of downtown. Tune in Saturday mornings from 9 to noon, and stream from anywhere using the free Audacy app.
