Lin Brehmer is synonymous with Chicago Radio, in fact he was just voted (once again) Chicago's Best DJ in the Chicago Reader Poll. For over 36 years he's been hailed by fans as their best friend in the whole world, and he was there to comfort, inspire and distract us during this most challenging past year.
Lin's commitment to serving our community is unparalleled: 30 years with the Les Turner ALS Foundation, 20 plus years with Misericordia, 9 years with the Hot Stove Cool Music charity concert for Theo Epstein's Foundation to be Named Later, hosting fundraisers for Illinois MS Society, St Jude Hospital, Growing Home Urban Gardens, The Greater Illinois Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Foundations for Music Rock and Roll Charity Auction for over 20 years. He has volunteered his time for The Boys and Girls Club, Henry Schueler 41 & 9 Foundation, The Kerry Wood Foundation, JDRF, Horizons for Youth, Steppenwolf Theater, and just about anyone who has asked for his participation.
