
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- With Lollapalooza in the rearview mirror another big outdoor music festival starts Thursday on the Near West side.
The Windy City Smokeout will take over paring lots outside the United Center for four days of country music, BBQ, and beer. Performers include Willie Nelson and family Tim McGraw, Sam hunt, Miranda Lambert, Zach Bryan and the Turnpike Troubadours- 17 acts on one main stage.
There are 30 vendors two dozen barbecue restaurants. Capacity is about 15,000 for the event that runs through the weekend. The Windy City
Smokeout is in its 10th year.
