CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- More than a dozen black women entrepreneurs from the South Side and Northwest Indiana are going to get valuable marketing advice and guidance this weekend.

Stanley Hainsworth made a name for himself in the marketing and branding world. He was the was Creative Director at Nike, Lego, and Starbucks.

This Saturday, Hainsworth and a team from his company, Tether, will help to mentor 19 black women entrepreneurs as part of an innovative program at the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago's Breedlove Entrepreneurship Center.

"It’s kind of like a Shark Tank-like set up where we go through each of their challenges and opportunities," he said.

"They are very successful in their small little communities, but they deserve the chance to grow that community.

One woman from the group will be selected to receive a full consulting session from Tether, valued by Hainsworth at $50,000 dollars.
