(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Kohls is closing some stores in the Chicago area.
The department store chain said it's closing more than two dozen locations nationwide, including two in Illinois.
Kohl's said the stores are underperforming. They’re scheduled to be shut down in April.
The two stores slated to close in the Chicago area are in Plainfield (11860 S. Route 59) and West Dundee (3000 Spring Hill Ring Road).
Overall, Kohl's still has more than 1,100 locations nationwide.
