WOODRIDGE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A Tesla crashed into a west suburban home, killing two people.
At around 9 p.m. Sunday, the impact scattered debris across a residential Woodridge intersection- 2400 block of Kildeer Street. The Tesla burst into flames, with police saying the two dead were inside the vehicle.
The homeowner was able to escape.
The investigation into what caused the driver to lose control continues, as officials assess the full extent of the damage of the property.
