GENEVA, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police in west suburban Geneva arrested two employees of a vape shop for illegally selling cannabis earlier this week.
Geneva Police in conjunction with the North Central Narcotics Task Force recovered more than 200 grams of cannabis and 70 cannabis vaping cartridges at Buzz Smoke N Vape shop located at 722 E. State St. on December 19.
The search warrant was granted following an investigation conducted by the Narcotics Task Force into illegal cannabis sales at the shop, according to police.
Daniel J. Velasquez, 28, and Kylie Housley, 20, both of Aurora face charges for delivery or manufacturing of cannabis. The Vape shop is not a licensed cannabis dispensary.
Velasquez and Housley were transported to Kane County Jail to await initial court appearances on December 20.
