CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Three gas stations and a restaurant were robbed at gunpoint within an hour of each other early Friday morning on the Northwest Side.
In the first incident, a 47-year-old gas station clerk was robbed at gunpoint by a male wearing all black around midnight in the 3700 block of West Addison Street, in The Villa neighborhood on the Northwest Side, the Sun-Times reported.
Before leaving the scene, the male went inside the adjoining restaurant and robbed a 24-year-old clerk, police said.
The male left the scene in a black-colored Dodge Dart, police said.
In the second incident, a 46-year-old gas station clerk was robbed at gunpoint by a male at about 12:25 a.m. Friday in the 3900 block of West Irving Park Road, in Chicago's Irving Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
The man held the clerk at gunpoint while he took money and fled the scene with an unknown amount, police said.
In the third incident, an armed robber held up a 43-year-old gas station clerk around 12:35 a.m. Friday in the 5700 block of North Northwest Highway in Old Norwood Park, Chicago police said.
The suspect, wearing a gray hooded sweater and black pants, stole an unspecified amount of money and fled the scene, the Sun-Times reported.
No one was hurt in any of the robberies.
It is unknown if the three armed robberies are connected. No one is in custody.
Area Five detectives are investigating each robbery.
