7 armed robberies occur in Rogers Park, all in same hour: CPD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police are warning Rogers Park residents after a series of robberies early Monday morning.

Police said suspects robbed victims seven separate times within a one hour period. Officers said each robbery involved several suspects. They arrived in two separate vehicles to surround the victims.

They then threatened the victims with handguns and demanded their belongings. Once the victims handed over their things, the suspects drove off in the cars they arrived in.

Police said the two vehicles were reported stolen, a 2021 white Kia Seltos and a 2015 purple Hyundai.
