—The Last Fling in Naperville is billed as a family-friendly community festival and is a fun way to say farewell to summer. The annual event has something for everyone, including music on multiple stages, a carnival, a business expo and food.
—Do you feel the luck of the Irish? Head to historic downtown Long Grove for the Irish Days festival through Monday. Celebrate Irish bagpipers, folk bands, the Irish dog competition and the Men's Kilt contest.
—And instead of saying so long to summer, greet the autumn season at the Frankfort Fall Festival. In addition to carnival rides and funnel cakes, more than 300 artists from across the country will have their works on display.
