CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- She's a cancer survivor, a model, a fashion designer, and a philanthropist and she's only 12 years old.

Rayniah Gregory is a 7th grader, who was diagnosed with a rare case of ovarian cancer when she was 9 months old.

Now in remission, she started modeling, drawing and designing. Rayniah has walked the runway in Milan, Paris, and New York.

"She's always been a little fashionista," her mother Susan told WBBM.

Susan also said next month, she will be debuting her newest fashion line at Walk The Runway for Cancer, which will benefit Lurie Children's Hospital.

Rayniah's care at Lurie's Children Hospital led her to this project.

"We chose them, because they are an amazing hospital and we're just very fortunate to have a program that will watch over your child," Susan said.

The event will be held on November 11 at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Other children whose lives have been touched by cancer will also walk the runway alongside Rayniah.
