(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Illinois state troopers closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 as they investigated a rollover crash involving a dump truck Thursday afternoon. It has since reopened to traffic.
Illinois State Police troopers responded to a crash on the westbound side of I-80 near Briggs Street in Joliet.
It appeared that the dump truck was involved in a crash with a semi-truck and another vehicle.
One of the individuals involved in the crash was ejected from their vehicle, and serious injuries were reported from the scene.
