CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — It's unofficially Beyoncé week in Chicago, and there's no shortage of festivities for members of the Beyhive who are looking to celebrate.
From drag brunches, to themed parties, to painting and drinks, Chicago has it all in honor of the singer’s Renaissance Tour shows at Soldier Field this Saturday and Sunday.
Northalsted will be Beyhive central this weekend. On Friday, Scarlet Bar is hosting a pre-party, and Kit Kat Lounge will host a two-hour Beyoncé drag show with Sasha Love. Later in the weekend, Sidetrack will feature a special edition Beyoncé night Saturday, and Roscoe's Tavern is finishing off the weekend with a Beyoncé drag brunch.
Beyoncé fans looking for something more low key can head to Studio W.I.P.'s Beyoncé Paint and Sip event, which will take place Saturday in Humboldt Park on Saturday. On Sunday, Nobody’s Darling in Andersonville is hosting a Beyoncé tea event.
In the Loop, a Renaissance Tour drag brunch will take place in the Macy’s Walnut Room.
If that’s not enough, a Summer Renaissance Pop-Up Selfie Museum will remain open in Pilsen through July 25.
