CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Trenton Tidwell, 20, of Portage Park was held on a $50,000 bail.
Tidwell was accused of robbing two De La Salle Institute students on a CTA Green Line train.
Tidwell allegedly initially demanded money from the students. When they declined, he pulled the knife and stole their wallets and cell phones.
He was captured on CTA surveillance as he left the scene.
Tidwell will have to post $5,000 before being released. He is due back in court on Oct. 4.
