While vehicles are the main attraction at the Chicago Auto Show, there are also some things that happen that might surprise you.
Auto Show General Manager Dave Sloan says you can adopt a dog.
"Subaru has has a great relationship with shelters across the country and at auto shows around the country," Sloan said. "They have opportunities for people to come into a pen, pet dogs, fall in love with them and then adopt them."
Sloan says the Chicago auto show is number one when it comes to dog adoption.
He also says it's become a tradition for at least one couple to get engaged at the auto show and he knows of at least one person who plans to pop the question this year.
