CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police put businesses on alert after a string of burglaries and vehicle thefts in the Albany Park and Grand Central neighborhoods.
Chicago police said a number of burglaries and motor vehicle thefts have happened over the past month in Districts 17 and 25, according to the police alert.
The crimes involved offenders burglarizing dealerships and vehicle repair shops and fleeing with a stolen vehicle.
The burglaries have taken place on West Irving Park Road, North Kedzie Avenue, West Grand Avenue, North Knox Avenue, and North Cicero Avenue.
Chicago police asked that anyone with information contact Area 5 detectives at 312-746-7394.
