Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson formally invited Pope Leo XIV to celebrate Mass in Grant Park during his meeting Thursday at the Vatican with the Chicago-born pope.

But he and the Chicago delegation did not come empty-handed, bringing along dozens of tokens representing the city's unique passions and flavors, as well as what the mayor has described as his and the Pope's shared interest in social issues.

Here's a complete list of the gifts given to the Pope, as provided by Mayor Johnson's office:

*Mayor Johnson personally presented Pope Leo with a Key to the City of Chicago and an invitation to return home and deliver mass in Grant Park.

*Two jars each of J.P. Graziano's hot and mild giardiniera, from J.P. Graziano Grocery
