(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx has released a list of more than 170 names of law enforcement officers on her office’s "Do Not Call" list.

As in, do not call to the witness stand for the prosecution.

All 174 officers seen as problematic for the prosecution because of their backgrounds, Foxx says. They are officers accused of misconduct or of framing suspects. Or, in at least one case, tied to the far-right Proud Boys group.

Most of the 174 officers are Chicago Police officers. Some are suburban officers or Cook County Sheriff's officers.

Foxx says in a statement that she is releasing the list "to improve the office’s prosecutorial integrity and help rebuild public trust in our criminal justice system."

WBBM Newsradio asked the Chicago Police Department to comment, and they referred inquiries to Foxx's office.

WBBM Newsradio also reached out to the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7 for a response.
