CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --Chicago’s favorite food vendors have gathered all in one place this weekend.

Dozens of food vendors, including at least 15 food trucks are at Grant Park for this year’s Taste of Chicago.

That includes the Original Rainbow Cone, Eli’s Cheescake, Robinson’s number 1 ribs along with a number of favorites from the past 40 plus years.

"Even barbecue can be healthy if you prepare it correctly," said Meshell Madgett, co-owner of Mr. E Chef Catering.

Mr. E Chef Catering is in its second year as a Taste of Chicago vendor. Mr E was founded by Madgett's late brother Ernest Kelly, who believed in serving nutritional healthy food that tastes good including baked and broiled fish, rib tips, and chicken and fries.

Exotic meats including alligator, rattlesnake, and rabbit sausage as well as vegan options such as vegan Mexican food were offered at the festival.
