ANTIOCH (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A foster dog has a new home but not in the way a north suburban animal shelter wanted.
Heartland Animal Shelter says a three month old black lab-shepherd mix named Buzz was stolen from his foster family’s backyard late Wednesday night.
The family lives in a subdivision in Antioch about a mile from Bootleggers Bar and Grill.
The shelter says someone was seen putting the puppy into a gray Jeep Wrangler Sahara.
They’ve put out an alert on social media.
Anyone who has seen the dog is asked to call the shelter.
