Four wounded in South Side drive-by shooting: CPD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police are looking for the person or people behind a drive-by shooting that ended with four people being wounded.

The shooting happened a little after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on 70th and Halsted in the Englewood neighborhood.

Police said a gray Dodge Durango drove past people who were standing on the sidewalk, and someone in the vehicle began shooting at them.

Four people were hit, including a 36-year-old man, shot in the head, and a 34-year-old man, shot in the abdomen. Both were taken to a hospital in critical condition. A 43-year-old man, shot twice in the leg, was taken to a hospital in good condition, and the fourth victim, a woman, suffered a graze wound.
