Celebrity Chef Giada De Laurentiis is bringing her star power and signature dishes to Hollywood Casino Joliet and its future "sister casino" in Aurora.
“I'm a lucky girl in the sense that I get to build these restaurants from the ground up,” De Laurentiis said.
“I called them Sorella and Sorrellina which mean sister and little sister,” she added.
Raf Verde with PENN Entertainment says they're thrilled to partner with De Laurentis.
Sorellina will be at the future Hollywood Casino Joliet which is currently being built and expected to open in the fourth quarter of this year, and Sorella will be at Hollywood Casino Aurora which is slated to open next year. De Laurentiis is still crafting the menus.
“The lemon pizza is one of my ideas of bringing that over from Scottsdale, since it's been such a big hit there,” said the chef.
