(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The man now charged with the murders of four Idaho college students was stopped by Indiana State Police twice while driving to Pennsylvania with his father last month.
Indiana State Police released dash cam and body cam video briefly showing Bryan Kohberger in the driver’s seat, after getting pulled over for following too close to a truck outside Indianapolis.
Kohberger was driving the white Hyundai Elantra that police in Idaho were looking for. But, the vehicle description was released after the traffic stop. He was with his father, who had flown to Washington to make the drive with his son.
Most of the video only shows the passenger side door. Kohberger was also pulled over by a sheriff’s deputy minutes before the state police stop. That time for speeding. He got warnings both times.
This was a month after he allegedly committed the murders.
