(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Police near Arizona's border with Mexico have arrested a Schaumburg man, accusing him of smuggling undocumented immigrants and leading police on a dangerous chase.

It happened on Tuesday in Bisbee, Arizona, just north of the Mexican border.

Investigators say 24-year-old Graesen Jackson of Schaumburg was driving a stolen car and had two undocumented immigrants with him when U.S.
Border Patrol agents tried to stop him.

Carol Capas, a public information officer with the sheriff's office in Cochise County, Arizona, said deputies were able to stop the car by deploying tire-deflation devices.

Jail records in Arizona show Jackson is also facing charges of resisting arrest and fleeing police.
