(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Many residents of Joliet are under a boil order after water main breaks in the southwest suburb.

All of the water main issues were on the city’s East Side.

Joliet's Department of Public Utilities said repairs were finished Monday, and the order to boil water that is to be consumed will remain in effect until the water tests clean.

Test results take a minimum of 18 hours to complete, officials said.
