CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Three weeks after the murder of a 5-month-old baby girl, police have released images of a car thought to have been involved and some are wondering where’s the outrage.
Cecilia Thomas became the year’s youngest murder victim when she was shot in the head while riding in her mother’s car in South Shore.
Juanita Harris, Thomas' mother, appealed to the person responsible soon after it happened, according to CBS 2.
"You see me. You see the pain I'm feeling. You need to turn yourself in because you don't even understand how I'm feeling,"
Pastor Donovan Price, with the victim support organization Solutions and Resources, told CBS 2, there needs to be some outrage.
He said, “people need to make noise.”
"Maybe if the community got upset, there would be no place to run; no place to hide," Price said referring to the child's killer.
Surveillance cameras captured a burgundy-colored Chrysler 300, which was believed to have been used in the shooting.
