CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A cybersecurity matter continues to disrupt phone and Internet service at Lurie Children's Hospital.

Lurie's has taken network systems offline and said it's investigating the cybersecurity matter with the support of leading experts and working with law enforcement agencies.

Lurie's is having trouble with the phone for inbound and outbound calls at all locations, but the hospital remains open and said it's trying to provide care to patients with as few disruptions as possible. They are establishing a call center.

About 239,000 children are treated at Lurie's locations each year.

Lurie's main location is at 225 East Chicago Avenue in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood.
