HARVEY (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police in the south suburbs said a man confessed Thursday to killing his boyfriend.
Harvey Police said the confession came after the arrest of 26-year old Marquis Johnson on a warrant out of Chicago.
Police said Johnson told detectives he had not only shot and killed his boyfriend, but buried him in the backyard of an abandoned property on 158th and Myrtle.
When law enforcement went to the address Johnson allegedly told them about, they found a body. Police also said they have the gun they believe was used to shoot the victim, who has not yet been identified.
Harvey police are working with Illinois State Police on the case.
