Police arrested a Park Ridge man last week on charges for an armed robbery at a Niles drive-thru back in September.
Connor Erskine faces one count of armed robbery and three counts of resisting arrest. Niles police say their detectives found a gun on him when they arrested the 20-year-old in a home in Wheaton on Tuesday afternoon. After actively resisting his arrest, police say Erskine implicated himself in the September 20th armed robbery of two in the drive thru of the Portillo’s drive-thru on Dempster in Niles. Police say Erskine and another male showed handguns before taking money belts with between $300 and $400 in each.
