CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A 38-year-old South Side man is charged with committing multiple armed robberies.
Anthony Leftridge, according to police, targeted businesses in his neighborhood, committing armed robberies twice, in September and January at a business near 100th and Western and a second business in January at 106th and Pulaski.
He's recognizable by his face tattoos.
Police said officers went to his home at 115th and Church Street to make the arrest and he tried, unsuccessfully, to get away.
He's charged with felony robbery and robbery with a firearm and a handful of misdemeanors.
