BRIDGEVIEW (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man has been shot and killed in southwest suburban Bridgeview.
Bridgeview Police said 39-year-old Arturo Cantu was shot and killed while getting into his car near 79th and Oketo, near his apartment, around 5 a.m.
Police said Cantu remote started his car and was walking out to it when he was confronted near the car and was shot multiple times.
A suspect has not yet been identified.
There was a street closure following the shooting, but streets are now open now. Bridgeview Police are investigating.
