(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A worker at a nursing home in Park Ridge is accused of sexually assaulting a patient last week.
Norwood Banks, 60, is being held without bond after a nurse at Advantara Rehabilitation Center, 1601 N. Western Ave., said she saw him assaulting a 62-year-old disabled woman Friday mornng.
Banks reportedly fled the facility, but officers later arrested him at his home in Chicago.
Authorities said they do not believe there were other victims.
Banks is charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault of a handicapped victim.
