Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi secures 4th term in the House

Suburban Congressman Krishnamoorthi knocked off GOP challenger Chris Dargis and will serve a fourth term in the House.

Krishnamoorthi, who's 8th Congressional District consists of northern suburbs such as Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Mundelein, Zion, and McHenry received 56% of the vote with 93% of the results in. He was first elected in 2017. He had spoken out against the overturning of Roe v. Wade and had pushed for an investigation into the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Businessman Chris Dargis of Palatine, whoreceived 46% of the vote, had spoken out against the elimination of cash bailout and had pushed for independent energy.
