SCHAUMBURG (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of a woman in Schaumburg.
26-year- old Jesus Gomez-Marcano has been charged with first-degree murder.
It was last Wednesday when police were called for a well-being check in the 1000 block of North Plum Grove Road. They found a woman dead. Police said she had been stabbed.
The woman was identified as 24-year-old Yvonne Lattuof-Delgado, the girlfriend of Gomez-Marcano. Investigators said he was at the woman's residence at the time of her death, pushing her to the ground and stabbing her in the neck.
Gomez-Marcano is expected in bond court today.
