CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police have released more information about the car and driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured a man in a wheelchair and killed a man who was pushing him.
The latest information is a photo of the vehicle and a description of the driver.
Police are looking for a white 2007 Chevy Equinox with Illinois license plate CZ74463.Having the plate doesn’t necessarily mean police know who was driving.
The description of the driver, which police said was provided by witnesses, is “A Male Black, approximately 5’10”-6’00” in height, 25-35 years of age, and a slender build with a beard and wearing a baseball hat.”
The two men were hit by the car on Thursday at about 6:30 p.m. on 95th and Ashland. The man who was pushing the wheelchair was dragged for about seven blocks.
