ANTIOCH (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Talk about a tail-wagging happy ending.
3-and-a-half month old Buzz is back with his foster family after he was stolen from an Antioch home last week.
Witnesses said the black lab/shepherd mix was taken from the backyard near West Highland and Woodland and put in a gray Jeep Wrangler.
In a social media post, the Heartland Animal Shelter said someone spotted Buzz wandering in the neighborhood and returned him to the foster home on Sunday.
The relieved family decided to make it official and adopt Buzz, ensuring he stays close and never experiences a doggone adventure like that again.
