CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --Two adults and a teenager are now charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm and resisting arrest following a carjacking from early this week.
Illinois State Police say 19-year-old Sarleah Hickson, 20-year-old Fredderick Jackson and a 16-year-old – all from Chicago– carjacked a woman at gunpoint near North Clybourn and West Wrightwood avenues Sunday evening.
Troopers later found the car on I-94 near 83rd Street when the driver tried to flee but immediately crashed into a restaurant.
All three were taken into custody, and a loaded gun was recovered from the car, police said.
