CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Santa!! I know him!
That's right, Chicago, Santa Claus is coming to town this weekend, because Christmas has finally arrived! And besides the hustle and bustle of preparing, hosting and entertaining - or just attending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day gatherings, there is still so much going on this holiday season in and around Chicago to celebrate the magic of the season! This weekend's forecast calls for highs in the mid to upper 40s - maybe even low 50s - and lows in the mid to upper 30s, so while it won't be a white Christmas, it will be a mild Christmas, so be sure to get out there and enjoy every last bit of it!

For those looking to celebrate the season and catch up with friends, why not check out one (or a few) of Chicago's favorite pop-up bars. There are a ton in Wrigleyville, including Santa Baby Bar at Dueces, 8 Crazy Nights at The Graystone Tavern, Griswolds at Houndstooth Saloon, Whooville at Moe's Cantina, Rudolph’s at Casey Moran's, Santa’s Workshop at Old Crow Smokehouse, and Elf’d Up at Stretch Bar & Grill. Or head to the next neighborhood over and check out Misfit Christmas at The Rambler Kitchen + Tap, located in Chicago's North Center neighborhood.
Plus, this is the last weekend to enjoy the Christkindlmarket in Daley Plaza -- but you still have another week to enjoy the second location in Wrigleyville. You don't want to miss out on either of them!
And there is still a week or so left to check out holiday light displays in and around Chicago, including zoo lights at both Lincoln Park Zoo and Brookfield Zoo; as well as the brand new AMAZE Light Festival is now open at Rosemont's Impact Field, Holiday in the Park Lights at Six Flags Great America, Light Up the Lake at Navy Pier, Illumination: Tree Lights at the Morton Arboretum, and Lightscape at Chicago Botanic Garden.
For sports fans, the Chicago Bears travel to Seattle on Sunday to take on the Seahawks at 3:05 p.m. and the Chicago Bulls host the Indiana Pacers on Sunday at 7 p.m. Meanwhile, the Chicago Blackhawks are on a break until at least next week.
Here's a look at things to do this weekend in Chicago and the suburbs:
