CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — It’s about damn time! The Second City announced the opening of the comedy theater’s 109th original revue, Together at Last.
This opening comes more than two years after the opening of Do You Believe in Madness? in 2019.

“707 days is the longest Second City has ever gone between Mainstage openings. We’re so thankful to our incredibly supportive and patient audience, and we think the final product is more than worth the wait,” said Jon Carr, Executive Producer, in a statement.

Together at Last is a non-stop celebration of how "we have persisted and even thrived during these impossibly difficult times. From laughing at the sheer absurdity of our current reality to cheering for our tiny wins, the cast of Together at Last is focused on uniting our audiences and giving people an incredible night out,” said Anneliese Toft, the show’s director and Creative Director for The Second City.
According to Second City, nothing is off-limits: family dynamics, marriage & divorce, girls’ nights out, working from home, and readjusting to society at large. The comedy theater invites guests to come laugh at what unites us all in a show that asks the question: is anyone out there going to save us?

Tickets start at $29 and are available by phone at 312-337-3992 or online at secondcity.com. The show schedule is as follows: Wednesdays at 7 p.m.; Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.; and Sundays at 7 p.m.
The Second City takes the health and safety of its patrons, talent, students, and staff very seriously. In addition to strict sanitization standards, capacity limits, and increased space between theater seating, proof of vaccination is required for anyone 12 years old and up entering the building. Masks are required indoors at all times except when eating or drinking.
