(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Former President Donald Trump agrees to debate Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a late-night post to Truth Social, Trump said he agreed to a Fox News debate with Harris, however the Harris campaign says they are sticking to the original agreement of a debate on ABC.

“I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant,” Trump wrote in his post.

“The FoxNews Debate will be held in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, at a site in an area to be determined. The Moderators of the Debate will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, and the Rules will be similar to the Rules of my Debate with Sleepy Joe, who has been treated horribly by his Party – BUT WITH A FULL ARENA AUDIENCE!”

The Harris campaign said Saturday morning that it will stick with the original plan for an ABC News debate on Sept. 10.

The Harris campaign said Trump is "running scared" and hoping Fox News will bail him out of the debate he'd already agreed to.

Last month, Harris said she was “ready” when Fox News proposed a debate on Spet. 17 for the two candidates.

On Friday, the Harris campaign announced that she had secured enough votes from Democratic delegates to secure the party’s nomination.
