CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A fire in a home in the Englewood neighborhood left two people hospitalized including a firefighter.
Firefighters were called to the two and a half story home near 62nd Street and Paulina Street at about 4 p.m.
The fire was on the first floor. A search turned up a victim who was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
A firefighter was also taken there. The fire department said he fell off the roof and was initially in serious condition.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
