NAPERVILLE, IL (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two Naperville men are charged with going into the home of an acquaintance and beating him in front of his daughter.
The DuPage County State's Attorney said it was Tuesday morning about 6:00 when police got the call about a home invasion, that two men, 36-year-old Ricardo Jimenez-Velazquez and 30-year-old Luis Rojas entered the Naperville home of a man they knew and attacked him, punching and kicking him multiple times in front of his daughter, who is a minor.
The homeowner is expected to recover. The men were arrested later that day.
"While this incident involved individuals who are known to each other, it doesn't make the crime committed any less troubling," said Naperville Chief of Police Jason Arres.
Bond was set at $150,000 for each man. Ten percent was required for release.
