(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A 27-year-old Chicago woman has been charged in connection with a series of business break-ins from early this year, police announced Wednesday.

Emma Murphy faces three counts of felony burglary for allegedly forcing entry into several businesses across the city on Jan. 6 and taking property.
She and others broke into the locations in the 600 block of North Michigan Avenue, the 400 block of West Belmont Avenue and the 2900 block of North Broadway, police said.
