Arriving at noon today (why not 4:20, maaan?), April 20th, Sublime unveil -- finally -- after over 30 years, an official video for their 1991 stoner anthem, "Smoke Two Joints."
True, the California Ska-punks were among the first to celebrate legalization, after the passing of the state's Proposition 215 in November of 1996, although that was sadly only half a year after the death of Sublime singer Bradley Nowell following a heroin overdose earlier that May.
Although written, recorded, and solidified into the vernacular of smokers around the globe way before the legalization of marijuana began to take over far and wide, the arrival of a new video while more and more states in the union consider easing restrictions is nothing short of a celebration for fans and the culture at large.
