2 fishermen dead after rowboat capsizes in Westchester reservoir

GOLDEN’S BRIDGE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) – Two friends are dead after a rowboat they were fishing on capsized in a Westchester reservoir about 50 miles north of New York City, police said. 

Another fisherman found the capsized boat and one body in the Muscoot Reservoir around 7 a.m. Tuesday, according to state police.

Police later found the body of the second man.

The two men were identified as 48-year-old Ngan Kong from Brooklyn and 47-year-old Ma Weitau from Staten Island.
