NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two teens were apprehended after they robbed a woman at knifepoint in Central Park on Wednesday night, police said.
NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea tweeted police bodycam video of the incident on Thursday morning.
Shea tweeted that officers "found the suspect and gave chase" after the woman was robbed.
Two teen boys, ages 14 and 15, were ultimately apprehended, according to police.
A photo from the NYPD shows the knife that was recovered by police.
Police told the New York Post that the 45-year-old victim was on the on the Great Lawn when the teens demanded her cash. She reportedly handed over her iPhone instead, tell them that she didn't have money on her.
