NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Jimmy Kimmel is heading home.

The Brooklyn native's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show will once again do a "Brooklyn Week” in October at Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House, marking its sixth visit to the borough. The show now in its 20th season is set to tape live in front of a live studio audience.
The show regularly airs weeknights from Los Angeles. Kimmel started visiting Brooklyn for his live show in 2015 and showed up every year until 2019. The Brooklyn-born comedian couldn't keep the tradition going due to the pandemic.
Brooklyn Week guests have not yet been announced, nor have the specific dates.
Previous guests of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in Brooklyn have included Eddie Murphy, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Adam Sandler, Benedict Cumberbatch, Eminem, Cardi B, Wu-Tang Clan, David Letterman, Michael J. Fox, Chris Rock, Misty Copeland, Jay Z, and more.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” airs every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
