NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The brother of actress and model Julia Fox was indicted for manufacturing ghost guns and drugs in his Upper East Side apartment, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced on Wednesday.

Police found drugs, guns and the tools to manufacture both when they raided 30-year-old Christopher Fox’s apartment last month.

Prosecutors believe that between March 2019 and December 2022, Fox purchased thousands of dollars worth of 3D printing equipment in order to manufacture gun components that can be assembled into weapons — commonly referred to as ghost guns.

During the March 8 raid, officers recovered two silencers, two high capacity magazines, five unfinished gun frames or receivers, four upper receivers, ammunition and an ammunition press alongside blueprints to manufacture assault rifles.

Law enforcement also found fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, oxycodone, buprenorphine, amphetamine and methadone. Also in the apartment were chemicals that can be used to manufacture drugs and tools for pressing tablets and pills.

Julia Fox described her brother as a “mad scientist recluse” who used 3D printers “for fun” in a 2019 interview.

“Christopher Fox fully equipped himself with an arsenal of materials to operate a ghost gun and narcotics factory out of his home,” said Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. “His use of 3D printing to manufacture parts for assault-style weapons serves as another example of just how easy and cheap it is to create dangerous firearms in a home or apartment.”

He was charged with drug possession, weapons possession, manufacturing weapons and related offenses.
